Table “I” Button
We added an “I” button on tables to provide explanations, usage information, help center links, and aggregated definitions of all columns within that table. You can find this in the upper right-hand corner of any table. Note that not every table will have information for each area, but we are working to continue enhancing and populating this feature.
Other Enhancements:
SNF Beds Column and Range Filter Added: We added the certified number of SNF beds at a facility as a column and range slider to the Skilled Nursing Explore table.
SNF Utilization Chart and Table Added: We added a SNF Utilization table and chart to Hospital & Agency Analyze pages. These charts and tables will show utilization percentages over the past four quarters for the SNF in comparison to state and county averages.
SNF Trended Readmission Rate Chart and Table Added: We added a Trended Readmission Rate table and chart to Hospital & Agency Analyze page. These charts and tables will show utilization percentages over the past four quarters for the SNF in comparison to state and county averages.
This Hospital/Agency Average Length of Stay Column Added: We added a new column for This Hospital/Agency ALOS to the Patient Diagnostic Mix table on the Hospital & Agency Analyze pages. You can use this column alongside the SNF utilization metrics for collaboration with facilities to reduce length of stay and readmission rates.
Average Length of Stay of Facility Column Added: We added a new column for This Hospital’s ALOS to the Destinations table on the Hospitals & Agencies Analyze pages. This column will show the average length of stay for all patients discharged from this hospital and subsequently cared for by the listed SNF during the one-year reporting period to bring clarification for this refined patient population.
Facility Type Filter Issues Fixed: We reverted t he Facility Type field on Explore to reference subspecialties in our database. This previously looked at the specialty field in the database. An example of this would be General Acute Care Hospital, which was previously missing but is now available.
Use Favorites as Comparisons on Total Cost of Care Report: We fixed a bug that was not showing favorites on the add/edit comparison box used on the Total Cost of Care Report.
Metric name changed from Followed to Attended
We have changed the Followed Patients column to Attended Patients on the Physician Explore page to better align with the terminology used in Skilled Nursing, as opposed to Home Health.
